Job Description
*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional dining experiences. *Duties*
* Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
* Prepare and cook special meals for guest and patrons
* Help supervise kitchen helpers
* Help oversee kitchen operations
* Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
* May clean kitchen and work area
* Help monitoring food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
* May train kitchen staff.
*Requirements*
* Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
* Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
* Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings as needed
* Basic understanding of serving, meal preparation, and food industry best practices
