(Food Service Supervisors)
We are seeking well-experienced food service supervisors for 124 ON QUEEN HOTEL AND SPA located at 124 Queen St Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON L0S 1J0 Canada.

JOB DUTIES:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the hotel’s restaurant, lounge, room service, and banquet food service areas to ensure efficient service and an exceptional guest dining experience.
- Schedule, assign, and oversee the work of servers, bartenders, hosts, and other food service staff, ensuring adequate staffing levels during peak meal periods, special events, and hotel functions.
- Train new employees on food handling procedures, customer service standards, POS operations, and hotel policies while monitoring performance and providing ongoing coaching.
- Monitor the quality and presentation of food and beverages before service, ensuring compliance with hotel standards, guest specifications, and food safety regulations.
- Maintain inventory of food service supplies, beverages, tableware, and service equipment; assist with ordering and coordinate with the kitchen to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Ensure compliance with health, sanitation, food safety, and workplace safety regulations by conducting routine inspections and enforcing established operational procedures.
- Address guest inquiries, special requests, and service concerns promptly and professionally, resolving issues to maintain high guest satisfaction and positive dining experiences.
- Prepare shift reports, monitor labour and operational efficiency, support cost-control initiatives, and coordinate with hotel management and kitchen staff to improve service quality and overall restaurant performance.
Prerequisites:
Education: Secondary (High) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience & Skills: 3 year to less than 5 years of experience
Language: English
Hourly Rate: $22.73 to $23.73 per Hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay
