TECHFORCE is looking to hire an experienced Home automation and Security systems technicians supervisor (NOC 72014) to join their busy company.

Employment conditions: Permanent, Full-time, 40 hours/week
Employment start date: As soon as possible
Wage: $40.00/ hour
Minimum requirements
Languages: English
Education: Minimum of High school diploma
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Specialized experience in smart home automation and security systems installation is a must.
Job duties
- Lead and supervise a team of low voltage technicians on job sites
- Plan, coordinate, and execute installations of low voltage systems, including:
- Structured cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber optics)
- Security systems (CCTV, access control)
- Audio/visual systems
- Fire alarm and intrusion systems
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Ensure compliance with local codes, safety standards, and company policies
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and other trades
- Train and mentor junior technicians
- Maintain accurate documentation and project reports
- Manage tools, materials, and inventory on-site
- Manage inventory of equipment and supplies
Job requirements
- Secondary school diploma
- Minimum of 3 years of telecommunication systems installation experience
- Demonstrated experience in smart home automation system installation
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
