- Salary: 27.00 to 36.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 35 to 44 hours per week

Overview
Languages: English
Education: College/CEGEP
Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is usually required.
Experience: 5 years or more in the food industry, Several years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, are required.
Budgetary responsibility: 0 – $100,000
Supervision: 11-15 people, Staff in various areas of responsibility
Security and safety: Reference required
Transportation/travel information: Valid driver’s licence, Own vehicle
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Attention to detail, Standing for extended periods, Large workload

Tasks
- Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits
- Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies
- Evaluate daily operations
- Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget
- Monitor revenues to determine labour cost
- Monitor staff performance
- Plan and organize daily operations
- Set staff work schedules
- Supervise staff
- Train staff
- Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
- Conduct performance reviews
- Cost products and services
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
- Participate in marketing plans and implementation
- Address customers’ complaints or concerns
- Provide customer service
