We are looking to hire 1 full-time, permanent
Job title: Restaurant Assistant Manager (NOC 60030)
Wage: $33.60 per hour
Main duties:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring adherence to company standards and procedures. Manage staff scheduling, including shifts and breaks, to maintain optimal service levels.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and address any issues or complaints promptly and professionally. Monitor customer satisfaction and implement improvements as needed.
- Recruit, train, and evaluate staff, including kitchen and front-of-house employees.
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control food and beverage costs. Ensure all products are stored and handled according to health and safety regulations.
- Monitor and analyze financial reports, including sales, expenses, and profit margins.
- Implement and support marketing and promotional activities to drive traffic and increase sales.
- Address and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize impact on service and customer satisfaction.
Responsibility:
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education in hospitality or business is an asset.
- Food safety certification
- 2-3 years of experience in restaurant management or a supervisory role in food service.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, inventory control, and budgeting.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management abilities.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills (MS Office).
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
