Location: – 50 Taunton Road East, Unit 1-2, Oshawa, Ontario, L1G 3T7
· Salary: 36.00 hourly / 30 hours per week
· Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time. Must be flexible to work Day, Evening, Morning, Night, Weekend, and holidays.
· Starts as soon as possible

Languages: English
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, related to hospitality or food and beverage service is required.
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the food service sector.
Workplace information: On site
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Responsibilities and Tasks
· Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits.
· Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies.
· Evaluate daily operations.
· Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget.
· Monitor revenues to determine labour cost.
· Supervise staff and Train junior staff
· Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
· Organize and maintain inventory.
· Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
· Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
· Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities.
· Participate in marketing plans and implementation.
· Leading/instructing individuals.
· Manage events.
· Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, restaurant and food service area.
· Assist cooks/chefs with preparation of food orders in peak hours.
· Any other duties as required per business needs.
Credentials: Safe Food Handling certificate
Security and safety: Basic security clearance
