Work location: Various locations in Alberta / NNS Truck Centre, Hinton, AB T7V 0B1
Salary: $36.00 hourly /35 to 40 hours per week
Terms of employment: Permanent / Full time
Starts as soon as possible
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
On the road: Work locations may vary. Frequent or constant travel is required from the employee.
Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Work site environment: Outdoors
Work setting: Courier company; Rural area; Urban area; Various locations
Responsibilities
Tasks
- Operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products
- Professionalism in customer service
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch
- Keep a record of items received and delivered
- Load and unload goods
- Follow directions and read map
- Use maps and other trip planning aids
- Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
Credentials
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles)
Experience and specialization
Transportation/travel experience: Local andProvince of Alberta
