Construction Painter
Mose Drywall Systems Ltd. is currently seeking two qualified individuals for the position of Construction Painter. This is a full-time, permanent employment opportunity offering a competitive wage of $36.00 hourly, with a work week ranging from 30 to 40 hours. The position is based in Barrie, ON.
The core responsibilities of the Construction Painter involve:
- Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted.
- Repair cracks and holes.
- Mix paint to desired colour and texture.
- Apply paint, wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
- Measure, cut and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls.
- Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging.
- Estimate costs and materials.
The essential qualifications for this role include:
- English language proficiency
- Minimum of a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Candidates must possess between 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the trade.
- Physically, the job is demanding and requires the ability to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs) , along with physical movements such as bending, crouching, and kneeling.
