 (Badminton Coach)

We are looking for a well-experienced Badminton Coach to work for Su Badminton Club location at 4140B Sladeview Crescent #6, Mississauga, ON L5L 6A1, Canada.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, develop, and implement structured badminton training programs for individual athletes and competitive teams across various age groups and skill levels.
  • Assess athletes’ technical abilities, physical conditioning, and tactical awareness to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct group and individual coaching sessions focusing on footwork, stroke mechanics, match strategy, endurance, and agility development.
  • Design progressive training drills to enhance speed, coordination, shot precision, and court positioning.
  • Develop and coordinate practice schedules and competitive preparation programs aligned with regional and provincial tournament calendars.
  • Formulate match strategies and provide real-time coaching and tactical adjustments during competitions and sanctioned events.
  • Monitor athlete performance through evaluation sessions and modify training plans based on measurable progress and competitive outcomes.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to support athletes’ mental resilience, discipline, and sportsmanship in competitive settings.
  • Collaborate with club management to support talent identification and athlete advancement within competitive development pathways.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and professional training environment, ensuring proper use of equipment and adherence to club policies and standards.

Prerequisites:

Education: Secondary (High) school graduation certificate or equivalent.

Experience & Skills: 5 years or more as a Badminton Coach or equivalent experience in relevant field.

Language: English

Hourly Rate: $36.00 for 30 Hours per week

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
