(Automotive service technician)
We are looking for a well experienced Automotive Service Technician for our company Go Auto located at 9902 74 St, Peace River, AB T8S 0A8, Canada

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review repair orders and perform diagnostics on Ford vehicles using manufacturer-approved procedures and service standards.
- Inspect vehicles in operation and conduct road tests to evaluate performance and identify mechanical or electronic faults.
- Utilize Ford diagnostic software and computerized testing equipment to accurately diagnose engine, transmission, and electrical system issues.
- Repair or replace components of fuel systems, braking systems, steering, suspension, drivetrains, and emission control systems.
- Service and repair Ford electrical and electronic systems, including advanced driver assistance and onboard control modules.
- Perform scheduled Ford maintenance services, including oil and filter changes, fluid services, and multi-point vehicle inspections.
- Complete warranty and recall repairs in accordance with Ford Motor Company specifications and documentation requirements.
- Test and adjust repaired systems to ensure compliance with Ford performance and safety standards.
- Interpret Ford technical manuals, service bulletins, and wiring diagrams to complete accurate repairs.
- Document diagnostic findings, labour performed, and parts used within the dealership’s service management system.
Prerequisites:
Education: Bachelor’s in Automotive Engineering Technology or equivalent experience
Experience & Skills: 5 years or more or equivalent experience in the relevant field.
Language: English
Additional Requirement: Automotive Service Technician Red Seal Certificate
Hourly Rate: $43 per Hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
