Motor Vehicle Mechanical Repairer
We are looking for a well experienced Motor Vehicle Mechanical Repairer for “Richmond Hill Hyundai” located at 11188 Yonge Street Richmond Hill, ON L4S 1K9, Canada.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspect and test Hyundai mechanical units including engines, transmissions, axles, and braking systems to identify faults and performance irregularities.
- Diagnose mechanical malfunctions using Hyundai-approved diagnostic tools and confirm repair or replacement requirements in accordance with dealership procedures.
- Remove, repair, rebuild, or replace major mechanical assemblies such as engines, cylinder heads, transmissions, differentials, and drivetrain components.
- Disassemble and reassemble mechanical units using precision measuring instruments and specialized automotive repair equipment.
- Perform internal engine repairs including timing components, gaskets, seals, and valve train systems to manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct transmission and drivetrain repairs including clutch systems, torque converters, and axle assemblies.
- Test and adjust repaired mechanical units to ensure proper operation and compliance with Hyundai performance standards.
- Complete manufacturer warranty repairs and mechanical recalls following Hyundai technical service bulletins and documentation requirements.
- Interpret Hyundai service manuals, mechanical schematics, and technical updates to ensure accurate repair execution.
- Record diagnostic findings, mechanical repairs performed, and parts used in the dealership’s service documentation system.
Prerequisites:
Education: Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
Experience & Skills: 3 years to less than 5 years
Language: English
Hourly Rate: $36.00 per Hour for 40 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
