(Chef De Partie – Pizza)

We are looking for an experienced Chef De Partie – Pizza for Pie Wood Fired Pizza Joint located 11 Victoria St, Barrie, ON L4N 6G2, Canada.

Job Duties:

Prepare and cook a variety of wood-fired pizzas and related menu items in accordance with established recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
Lead and oversee daily operations of the pizza station to ensure efficient service and consistent culinary execution.
Supervise, train, and provide direction to junior kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and workflow efficiency.
Contribute to the development and refinement of pizza recipes, specialty offerings, and seasonal menu items aligned with the restaurant’s culinary concept.
Ensure proper preparation, portioning, and quality control of dough, sauces, and toppings prior to and during service.
Monitor inventory levels of pizza ingredients, coordinate ordering, and ensure proper storage and stock rotation to minimize waste.
Maintain and oversee the cleanliness and safe operation of pizza ovens and kitchen equipment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Enforce food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards within the pizza station to meet regulatory and operational requirements.
Collaborate with kitchen management to support overall kitchen operations and uphold high guest satisfaction standards.

Prerequisites:

Education: Secondary (school) graduation certificate or equivalent.

Experience & Skills: 5 years or more experience.

Language: English

Hourly Rate: $36.00 for 30 Hours per week

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
