- 3 years to less than 5 years in a related role
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and manage budgets to maintain and improve restaurant profitability
- Develop cost estimates for food, ingredients, alcohol, and supplies
- Evaluate and oversee daily operations
- Adjust food preparation methods and menu pricing based on financial targets
- Monitor revenues and control labour costs
- Supervise, train, and evaluate staff performance
- Recruit employees and schedule staff shifts
- Plan and organize overall restaurant operations
- Ensure compliance with provincial liquor laws and regulations
- Maintain inventory and negotiate with suppliers
- Handle cash management, balance sheets, and financial reporting
- Conduct performance reviews
- Ensure health and safety standards are followed
- Address customer concerns and provide excellent customer service
- Support marketing initiatives and business growth
- Coordinate catering services and facility use agreements
