(Home Support Worker)
We are looking for a Home Support Worker for Lesley-Jo Binstock Offman located at 1503-625 Avenue Road Toronto ,Ontario M4V 2K7 Canada.

JOB DUTIES:
- Provide personal care and daily living assistance to the employer in a private household setting, including support with mobility, dressing, grooming, bathing, and personal hygiene while maintaining dignity and independence.
- Assist with safe movement and ambulation within the residence, including transferring and positioning support as required to ensure comfort and reduce risk of injury.
- Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals in accordance with dietary needs and household preferences, while monitoring food quality, portioning, and meal schedules.
- Administer medication reminders and assist with maintaining medication routines as directed by the employer or healthcare professionals.
- Perform routine housekeeping duties related to the employer’s care, including laundry, changing bed linens, organizing living spaces, dishwashing, and maintaining a clean and safe home environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote the employer’s overall well-being, comfort, and social engagement within the home environment.
- Assist with scheduling and accompanying the employer to medical appointments, therapy sessions, or community activities as required.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling personal, medical, and household information.
- Ensure a safe residential environment by observing household safety practices, identifying potential hazards, and following emergency procedures when required.
- Support daily routines and household organization to help maintain consistency, comfort, and quality of life for the employer.
- Maintain accurate records related to care routines, medication reminders, appointments, and daily activities as required by the employer or family representatives.
Prerequisites:
Education: Secondary School Certificate
Experience & Skills: 3 years of experience
Language: English
Hourly Wage: $25 for 40 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay
