Responsibilities

Tasks

·         Read work orders, site plans, and project specifications to determine fence layout and installation requirements.

·         Measure, mark, and prepare fence lines using measuring tools and layout equipment.

·         Load, unload, transport, and organize fencing materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.

·         Dig post holes manually or using powered equipment and prepare sites for fence installation.

·         Set, align, and secure fence posts using concrete, ensuring proper spacing, depth, and level.

·         Install residential, commercial, and industrial fencing, including chain-link, wood, vinyl, ornamental, and privacy fences.

·         Install gates, hinges, latches, posts, rails, fence panels, and related hardware according to specifications.

·         Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, compact machinery, and other installation equipment safely.

·         Repair, replace, and maintain damaged or worn fencing, gates, and hardware as required.

·         Inspect completed installations to ensure quality, proper alignment, stability, and compliance with company standards.

·         Follow workplace safety procedures, use personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean and organized work area.

·         Communicate with supervisors and team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.

·         Perform other related installation and site preparation duties as assigned.
