Job Description
On-site retail store supervisor position. Supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.); assign sales workers to duties; hire and train or arrange for training of staff; authorize payments by cheque; order merchandise; authorize return of merchandise; establish work schedules; sell merchandise; prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters; resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages; organize and maintain inventory; supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers; verify stock availability from current inventories; receive payments; receive payments from customers; price items using stamp or stickers according to price list; perform routine maintenance work; order supplies and maintain inventory; organise day-to-day business operations; manage difficult situations with customers; maintain inventory of equipment; deposit cash and maintain daily log books; balance and deposit cash; balance cash and record sales; manage staff and assign duties; review requirements of establishment and determine quantity and type of merchandise to purchase; provide customer service; co-ordinate special publicity events and promotions; prepare daily reports of fuel, oil and accessory sales; reconcile physical inventories with computer counts; accept cash, cheque, credit card or automatic debit payment.

Requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
- English
