Job Description
We are a growing utility contractor with multiple projects across the Ottawa area and are currently looking for *experienced construction labourers* to join our team.
This role is best suited for individuals with a solid background in construction (civil, utility, concrete, asphalt, or similar) who are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can contribute to a productive crew.
We offer full-time, competitive wages ($28?$36/hour based on experience), group benefits, and opportunities for advancement.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Hand digging and trench preparation
* Assisting with installation of underground piping and conduits
* Pulling and handling wire and materials
* Concrete forming and pouring
* Asphalt placement and surface restoration
* Placing precast structures
* General labour and support to crews on site
*Requirements:*
* Minimum 2+ years of construction labour experience (civil, utility, concrete, asphalt, etc.)
* Ability to work efficiently with limited supervision
* Physically fit and capable of heavy manual labour
* Comfortable working long hours in all weather conditions
* Experience using hand tools and power tools safely
* Valid driver?s license and reliable transportation
*Assets:*
* Experience working around underground utilities
* WHMIS and Working at Heights certifications
