Job Description
On-site livestock labourer position. Handling animals; monitor the calving process; monitoring animal health; perform livestock feeding; prepare a clean, dry area for cows that are calving; track and report on current feed inventory; weaning; feed and tend animals; ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed; maintain livestock performance records; clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens; maintain work records and logs; detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry; perform general farm duties.
