Job Description
On-site dairy herdsperson position. Diagnose livestock health issues; direct farm feed inventory activities; handling animals; monitor the calving process; monitoring animal health; organize tasks to accomplish the work; perform animal grooming activities; perform livestock feeding; track and report on current feed inventory; treat livestock health issues; harvest crops; feed and tend animals; operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment; carry out a pasture or pen breeding programs; ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed; formulate feeding program; maintain livestock performance records; maintain quality control and production records; milk cows; clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens; maintain work records and logs; detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry; perform general farm duties; set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops; prevent and treat lameness by hoof trimming; conduct artificial insemination and spraying or shearing of livestock or disinfecting pens, barns or poultry houses.

Requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
- English
