Job Description
On-site asbestos remover position. Load, unload and transport construction materials; erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades; assist in demolishing buildings; remove rubble and other debris at construction sites; read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions; operate machines and equipment; clean and prepare surfaces; maintain clean and safe work environment; remove asbestos, ceramic fibres, lead and mould and urea-formaldehyde insulation materials from buildings.

Requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
- English
- Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely
- Asbestos abatement training
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) training
- Confined Space Entry Training
- Forklift Operator Certification
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
- First Aid Certificate
- Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
- Working at heights training
- CPR Certificate
- Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)
