Summary
With over a decade of experience as custom home builders serving the Sea to Sky Corridor, we have mastered the craft of custom home construction, interior renovating, exterior home remodeling, and general contracting.
CVC Custom Builders is looking to hire an Apprentice Carpenter to our team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
o Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
o Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other material
o Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
o Perform forming, framing, and finishing work under supervision
o Accurately measure and cut timber
o Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
o Maintain clean and safe job sites daily, including tool cleanup and Friday deep cleans
o Follow safety procedures and report incidents to Site Supervisor or Project Manager
o Ask questions and seek guidance as needed to support professional growth
o Wear a tool belt/nail bag and adhere to the company uniform policy
o Show punctuality and strong work ethic daily
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35 per hour
Expected hours: 30 to 40 per week
Experience:
- Carpentry: 1 year (preferred)
