Job Description
We are currently looking for a fulltime Auto Body Technician to join our team as soon as possible. Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Position: Full-time/ permanent, 32-40hrs/week (2 vacancies)
Shift: Overtime required, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours
Language: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Work Site Environment: Dusty, Noisy
Work Setting: Willing to relocate
Responsibilities
- Estimate repair cost based on damage examination report
- Inspect repaired vehicles
- Replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components
- File, grind and sand body surfaces to be repaired
- Hammer out dents, buckles and defects using blocks and hammers
- Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
- Repair or replace interior components
- Repair or replace damaged windows, windshields and sunroofs
- Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams
- Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment
