We are looking for well experienced Bakers to work for our company Baxter’s Bakery located at 740 Division St Northam Industrial Park Building 1 W Cobourg, ON K9A 0H6, Canada.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and mix doughs and batters for breads, rolls, pastries, cakes, and cookies in accordance with standardized recipes and production specifications.
- Operate commercial baking equipment, including mixers, proofers, and ovens, to bake products while controlling temperature, timing, and humidity levels.
- Monitor fermentation, proofing, and baking processes to ensure consistent product quality, texture, and appearance.
- Decorate and finish baked goods, including cakes and pastries, using icings, glazes, and fillings based on product requirements.
- Develop and follow daily production schedules to meet wholesale and retail demand while minimizing overproduction and waste.
- Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with Baxter’s Bakery quality standards and food safety regulations.
- Maintain inventory of baking ingredients and supplies, and assist in ordering and stock rotation to ensure freshness and cost control.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, equipment, and storage areas in compliance with HACCP and public health standards.
- Assist in training junior bakers or kitchen staff and support adherence to operational procedures and workplace safety practices.
- May perform other duties as reasonably assigned.
Prerequisites:
Education: Diploma certificate or equivalent.
Experience & Skills: 2 years to 3 years of experience as a Baker.
Language: English.
Hourly Rate: $21.02 per hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Full-time and permanent
