Job Description
On-site carpenter position. Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements; measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials; build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems; fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware; schedule and co-ordinate work on sites; supervise other workers.

Requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
- English
- Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) training
- Working at heights training
- Occupational Health and Safety Certificate
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
- Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
