Playground Installation</strong></b></p><p> Location: Nanaimo, BC (Central Vancouver Island)</p><p> Wage: $35-$45+/hr depending on experience</p><p> Full-Time | Year-Round Employment</p><p><b><strong>Build Projects You Can Be Proud Of.</strong></b></p><p>Maxx Contracting is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Carpenter Foreman to lead our deck, fencing, and outdoor construction division.</p><p>If you’re the type of carpenter who enjoys leading a crew, producing high-quality work, and taking ownership of projects from start to finish, we’d like to hear from you.</p><p><b><strong>What You’ll Be Building</strong></b></p><ul><li>Custom wood and composite decks</li><li>Privacy and decorative fencing</li><li>Gates and pergolas</li><li>Playground installation</li><li>Park and municipal projects</li><li>Other outdoor construction projects</li></ul><p><b><strong>Responsibilities</strong></b></p><ul><li>Lead a crew of 1-3 employees</li><li>Read plans and organize projects</li><li>Coordinate materials and daily production</li><li>Maintain quality workmanship</li><li>Ensure work is completed safely and efficiently</li><li>Communicate with clients and project management</li><li>Train and mentor crew members</li><li>Assist with playground installations throughout Vancouver Island</li></ul><p><b><strong>Qualifications</strong></b></p><ul><li>5+ years of carpentry experience</li><li>Experience building decks and fences</li><li>Previous leadership or foreman experience</li><li>Ability to read construction drawings</li><li>Strong communication and organizational skills</li><li>Valid driver’s license</li><li>Reliable transportation</li></ul><p><b><strong>Assets</strong></b></p><ul><li>Equipment operating experience</li><li>Concrete forming experience</li><li>Retaining wall experience</li><li>Playground installation experience</li></ul><p><b><strong>What We Offer</strong></b></p><p> Competitive wages</p><p> Year-round work</p><p> Modern equipment and tools</p><p> Well-organized crews</p><p> Opportunity for advancement</p><p> Growing company with long-term career opportunities</p><p>If you’re looking for a company where your experience is valued and you can help build something bigger, we’d like to meet you.</p><p><br /></p></div></div>
