Job Description
We are looking for a well experienced Chef De Partie for Cleese Catering located at 11 Carlaw Ave Toronto, ON M4M 2R6. Canada.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards, including HACCP and local health regulations.
- Collaborate with the team in planning and executing event menus, seasonal offerings, and custom client requests.
- Monitor portion control and reduce waste through effective preparation and storage practices.
- Coordinate with service and catering staff to guarantee timely preparation, plating, and delivery for on-site and off-site functions.
- Train team members on proper cooking techniques, plating, garnishing, and presentation for consistent results.
- Requisition and manage food and kitchen supplies for upcoming events and daily operations.
- Stay informed about culinary trends, seasonal ingredients, and innovative presentation techniques to enhance menu offerings.
- Assist in organizing and executing large-scale banquets and high-volume catering services, ensuring smooth coordination across stations.
- Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty dishes for weddings, banquets, corporate events, and private catering functions in line with Cleese Catering’s quality standards.
- Manage a designated section of the kitchen (grill, sauces, cold kitchen, or desserts), ensuring food quality, consistency, and presentation.
Prerequisites:
Education: Secondary school, or equivalent experience
Experience & Skills: 5 years or more
Language: English
Hourly Rate: $36 to $ 40.00 per Hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
