Job Description
Moovment Logistics 105 Consumers Drive Whitby, Ontario L1N 1C4 is a leading distribution and logistics provider supporting Amazon and multiple major e‑commerce platforms. As we continue to scale our operations, we are seeking a highly skilled Computer Network Technician to oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, and security of our organization’s network infrastructure, computer systems, communication systems, and digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain all LAN, WAN, mainframe networks, computer workstations, phone systems, and peripheral equipment to ensure seamless connectivity across the organization.
- Install, update, and maintain web server hardware and software and perform routine startup, shutdown, and control record maintenance.
- Install, troubleshoot, update, and maintain the company website and all internal/external applications.
- Monitor computer systems and network performance.
· Install computer hardware, networking software, and operating software.
· Perform regular data backups, web-server backup operations, and disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.
· Provide problem‑solving services to all network users, resolve hardware/software issues, and deliver timely technical support.
· Set up and maintain local area networks, internet connections, and secure remote access configurations.
· Ensure adherence to best practices and operational procedures.
Wage: $36/hour for a minimum of 30 hours per week.
Overtime: at 1.5 times the regular hourly rate for all hours worked beyond 44 hours per week.
