Responsibilities
Tasks
• Assist fence installers with the installation of residential, commercial, and industrial fencing projects.
• Load, unload, transport, and organize fencing materials, tools, and equipment at construction sites.
• Prepare job sites by clearing debris, marking fence lines, and digging post holes using hand and power tools.
• Mix, pour, and level concrete for fence posts and foundations as directed.
• Help position, align, and secure fence posts, rails, panels, chain-link fabric, gates, and hardware.
• Operate and maintain basic hand tools, power tools, and compact equipment under supervision.
• Assist with repairing, replacing, and maintaining existing fences and gates.
• Perform site setup and cleanup, including removing construction debris and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Dismantle old fence panels
• Follow all company safety procedures, wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with WorkSafeBC safety requirements.
• Assist fence installers with daily construction activities and perform other labouring duties as assigned by the site supervisor.environment.
