Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a Cleaner to join our team. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in various facilities. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
– Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
– Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
– Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
– Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
– Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including hallways, lobbies, and break rooms
– Follow established procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment
– Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor
– Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment
Skills:
– Strong time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
– Ability to operate power tools and hand tools for cleaning purposes
– Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices
– Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and customers
– Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for moving furniture or equipment
– Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning preferred
– Customer service skills to address any concerns or requests from customers
