Job Description
On-site farm worker – harvesting position. Apply fertilizers; clean the crops; clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas; cut agricultural crops; cut agricultural seed according to farm standards; divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots; dose water saturation, light and temperature as instructed for crop growth and development; hand harvesting vegetables; harvest seedlings; mixing fertilizer; pick row and orchard crops; seed cutting; train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality; weeding; clean work area; harvest crops; operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment; clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens; examine product for quality and its readiness for the market.
