Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and reliable Home Support Worker to provide in-home total care for an elderly client living with Parkinson?s disease. This role focuses on personal care, mobility support, companionship, and maintaining comfort and dignity in a private home setting. Training will be provided for specific care needs.
Duties
* Assist with *personal care* (bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming)
* Assist with *feeding and hydration*
* Support *mobility and transfers*, including use of a *ceiling lift*
* Repositioning and comfort care
* Provide *companionship and emotional support*
* *Light housekeeping related to care* (laundry, linens, tidying care area)
* Monitor condition and report changes to family
* Assist with appointments or outings as needed
Qualifications
* Experience in *home care, assisted living, hospice, or senior care* preferred
* Experience with *Parkinson?s disease or neurological conditions* an asset
* Physically capable of lifting and transfers
* Patient, flexible, dependable, and compassionate
* Comfortable using a *ceiling lift*
* Willingness to learn; *training provided for specific care needs*
* *Criminal record check required*
Pay: From $21.00 per hour
