Housekeeping Lead Room Attendant

Summary

Our mountainside lodging is 2km from Fernie Golf and Country Club, and 5km from Mount Fernie Provincial Park. The cozy-chic rooms all have en-suite bathrooms, as well as flat-screen TVs, tables, free WiFi, coffeemakers, minifridges and microwaves. Rooms in a rustic annex include kitchenettes and cable TV. There’s an indoor hot tub, and a BBQ grill deck with mountain views. Complimentary amenities include off-street parking and loaner bikes.

Snow Valley Lodging is looking to fill one position as a Housekeeping Lead Room Attendant with candidates who are reliable, trustworthy and who love customer care for our mountain lodging located in Fernie, BC.

Responsibilities

Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors

Dust furniture

Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture

Make beds and change sheets

Distribute clean towels and toiletries

Stock linen closet

Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances

Handle and report lost and found items

Attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items

Pick up debris and empty trash containers

Launder clothing and household linens

Wash windows, walls and ceilings

Address customers’ complaints or concerns

Schedule staff

Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards

Maintain inventory of supplies

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years

Work must be completed at the physical location.

Wages

$22/ hour

Full-Time (30-40 hours per week)
