Job Title: Label Press Supervisor (NOC 72022)

We are currently seeking a Label Press Supervisor (NOC 72022) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of workers engaged in label printing, making and related products, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with production standards.
Job Description
• Supervise, coordinate and schedule activities of workers who produce label printing and cutting.
• Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other departments
• Review and approve all job proofs or samples to ensure quality of work meets client specifications
• Requisition materials and supplies
• Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
• Train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
• Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions
• Prepare production and other reports
• May set up machines or equipment.
• May perform label press and cutting functions if needed
Requirements:
• At least one year of related experience in label printing/making or label converting, including experience as a supervisor, team leader or senior label-making machine operator.
• Completed Secondary School is required
• Able to communicate in English
• Willing to work overtime, weekend or holidays if needed

Terms of Employment: Full Time, Permanent
Working Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
Salary: $37.50 per hour
