Laundry Supervisor
We are looking for “Laundry Supervisor” for The Quality Inn & Suites Prescott located at 135 Prescott Centre Dr, Prescott, ON K0E 1T0, Canada.

JOB DUTIES:
- Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of laundry attendants engaged in cleaning and processing hotel linens, towels, and uniforms.
- Develop and implement daily and weekly laundry production schedules to support housekeeping operations and ensure timely room turnover.
- Assign work duties and monitor staff performance across all stages of the laundry process, including sorting, washing, drying, pressing, folding, and distribution.
- Inspect finished laundry items to ensure compliance with hotel quality standards, hygiene protocols, and presentation requirements.
- Oversee the operation of commercial laundry equipment, including industrial washers, dryers, and pressing machines; coordinate routine maintenance and arrange repairs as required.
- Train staff on standard operating procedures, proper handling of linens, safe operation of equipment, and compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels of linens, uniforms, detergents, and laundry supplies; prepare requisitions and maintain stock control systems.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure efficient collection, processing, and distribution of laundry items.
- Maintain operational records, including production logs, inventory usage, and staff attendance, and report to management as required.
- Ensure adherence to occupational health and safety standards, including the safe handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience & Skills: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience.
Language: English.
Hourly Rate: $22 for 30 to 40 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay
