We are looking for “Laundry Supervisor” for Holiday Inn Express Kingston located at 205 Resource Road Kingston, ON K7P 0K1, Canada.

JOB DUTIES:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of laundry attendants responsible for processing hotel linens, towels, and staff uniforms.
Establish daily laundry production schedules to support housekeeping operations and timely guest room turnover.
Assign duties and monitor workflow for sorting, washing, drying, pressing, folding, and distribution of hotel linens and textiles.
Inspect laundered items to ensure cleanliness, proper finishing, and adherence to hotel quality standards.
Operate and oversee the use of commercial laundry equipment, including industrial washers, dryers, and pressing machines, and arrange maintenance or repairs when required.
Train laundry staff in proper handling of linens, operation of equipment, and safe use of cleaning chemicals and detergents.
Maintain inventory levels of linens, uniforms, detergents, and laundry supplies, and requisition additional materials as necessary.
Coordinate with housekeeping and other hotel departments to ensure efficient collection, processing, and distribution of linens and laundry items.

Education: Secondary School (high) graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience & Skills: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in Housekeeping or equivalent field.

Language: English.

Hourly Rate: $24.51 for 30 to 40 Hours per week

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent

Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay
