Responsibilities
Tasks
- Assisting in inspecting and testing malfunctioning vehicles to identify issues
- Helping with regular maintenance tasks such as oil changes, battery checks, tire rotation, and brake inspections
- Supporting in repairing or replacing faulty parts of vehicles
- Helping to maintain the cleanliness and organization of the mechanic shop
- Assisting in maintaining an inventory of parts and tools
- Transporting vehicles to and from the mechanic shop as needed
- Learning and applying new technical skills under the supervision of a mechanic
- Adhering to safety procedures and protocols at all times
