Occupational analyst – human resources

We are looking for experienced Occupational analyst – human resources for Ma-Ro Catering located at 31 Railside Rd, #3, North York, ON M3A 1B2, Canada.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Plan, develop and evaluate human resources strategies and workforce policies to support large-scale catering operations and specialized food service teams.
  • Research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions and competency frameworks for kitchen staff, event service personnel and logistics teams involved in catering operations.
  • Analyze workforce requirements for catering services involving specialized food preparation standards, including dietary and kosher food service environments.
  • Develop and implement compensation structures, wage scales and employee benefits aligned with labour market conditions and the operational needs of catering and hospitality staff.
  • Advise management on the interpretation of employment legislation, workplace policies and labour relations matters relevant to catering operations and event-based staffing models.
  • Plan and administer recruitment strategies, workforce planning initiatives and employee development programs to support catering services and event staffing requirements.
  • Manage human resources information systems and maintain HR records to support regulatory compliance, workforce reporting and operational planning.
  • Research employee relations practices, workplace safety considerations and employment equity initiatives within hospitality and catering environments and recommend improvements to HR policies.
  • Coordinate employee performance appraisal processes and support the development of training frameworks to strengthen workforce capability across kitchen, service and event support teams.

Prerequisites:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.

Experience & Skills: 5 years or more of progressive experience in human resources management and workforce planning.

Language: English

Hourly Rate: $40.87 per Hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
