Hourly rate: $45 to $50 depending on experience.
Positions Available: 2
Type: Permanent-Full time (35 hrs. to 40 hrs. a week)
Job Duties and skill requirements:
- Teach and/or supervise exercises to patients.
- Conduct research in physiotherapy.
- Confer with other health professionals.
- Maintain clinical and progress reports.
- Select appropriate exercises, apparatus, and manipulations.
- Plan physiotherapy programs.
- Administer evaluative tests and procedures.
- Assess patients’ physical abilities.
Experience:
· No experience is required for Canadian Training Physiotherapists.
· Experience is required for internationally educated physical therapists as required by the Canadian Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulators (CAPR)
· Any previous work experience will be an asset.
Education Requirements/Credentials:
· A university degree in physiotherapy
· Credentialling (required for internationally educated physical therapists) as per the requirements of the Canadian Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulators (CAPR)
· Physiotherapy Competency Examination- Written Component – as per the requirements of the Canadian Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulators (CAPR)
· Clinical Assessment BC – Alternate Clinical Evaluation BC (ACEBC) by UBC
A license or registration with the CPTBC or any other governing body in Canada
