Purchasing Supervisor
We are looking for a well-experienced Purchasing Supervisor for “Mcewan Enterprises Inc.” to work at 38 Karl Fraser Road, Toronto, ON M3C 0H7, Canada.

Job Duties:-
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of purchasing and inventory personnel responsible for sourcing grocery, specialty food, and retail merchandise products.
- Monitor inventory levels and sales trends to determine purchasing requirements and ensure adequate stock of food, beverage, and retail products.
- Review and approve purchase orders, requisitions, and supplier agreements in accordance with company policies and budgetary guidelines.
- Establish and maintain relationships with domestic and international suppliers to ensure consistent product availability, quality standards, and competitive pricing.
- Evaluate supplier performance, delivery schedules, product quality, and contract compliance, and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
- Coordinate with store operations, culinary teams, and department managers to forecast product demand and support seasonal, promotional, and specialty inventory requirements.
- Resolve issues related to product shortages, delayed shipments, damaged goods, and supplier discrepancies to minimize disruptions to business operations.
- Train, supervise, and schedule purchasing staff, ensuring compliance with procurement procedures, inventory controls, and company standards.
- Analyze purchasing reports, inventory turnover, and market conditions to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, company quality standards, and applicable purchasing and receiving procedures.
Prerequisites:
Education: Secondary school or equivalent
Experience & Skills: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
Language: English
Hourly Rate: $ 36.06 to $ 38.00 per Hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
