Work location – On site

Salary – $27.03 hourly / 35 to 44 hours per week

Terms of employment:

Permanent employment

Full time

Starts as soon as possible

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities/Tasks:

Supervise workers and projects

Oversee apprenticeship training

Train or arrange for training

Set up machines and equipment

Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies

Leading/instructing individuals

Install exterior prefabricated products

Install vinyl decking materials

Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners

Ensure construction plans meet guidelines and specifications of building codes and other regulations

Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes

Ensure compliance to drawings, specifications and building codes

Construct and repair wood or metal supports and structures

Cut, shape and fit materials to form parts and components

Supervision:

Working groups

Staff in various areas of responsibility

Trades helpers

Labourers

Experience and specialization:

Type of materials – Composite materials

Parts specialization – Vinyl siding, insulating and roofing

Architectural specialization – Residential construction

Area of specialization – Siding

Transportation/travel information – Valid driver’s license

Work conditions and physical capabilities:

Work under pressure

Own tools/equipment – Steel-toed safety boots
