Job title: Technical Business Analyst (NOC 21221)
Wage: $45 per hour.
Job responsibilities:
- Lead the facilitation of workshops, interviews, and meetings with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable business and system requirements (BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases).
- Conduct gap analyses and feasibility’ studies to evaluate current processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze existing business processes using Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to identify inefficiencies and recommend optimized solutions.
- Design and implement new business processes and workflows in alignment with industry best practices and organizational goals.
- Serve as a liaison between business units, IT teams, and mutual understanding of project objectives. and external vendors to ensure alignment
- Present findings, recommendations, and solution options to business leaders and stakeholders.
- Maintain thorough documentation and clear communication throughout the project life cycle.
- Work with project managers, developers, and QA teams to ensure requirements are correctly translated into technical specifications.
- Support testing activities including UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by developing test scenarios, reviewing test cases, and validating test results.
- Track and report on project deliverables, risks, and dependencies, ensuring solutions meet business expectations and quality standards.
- Use data modeling and analytics tools to evaluate business performance and identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Design and develop business intelligence reports, dashboards, and KPls to support decision making.
- Support organizational change by creating communication plans, training materials, and user guides to facilitate adoption of new processes and systems.
- Provide post-implementation support and conduct lessons learned reviews to capture insights for continuous improvement.
Job requirements:
1. Degree or diploma in Business, IT, or related field
2. 3–5 years business analysis experience, preferably in IT
3. Skilled in gathering and documenting requirements (BRDs, user stories)
4. Knowledge of process improvement (Lean, Six Sigma)
5. Experience with data analysis and Business Intelligence tool.
6. Strong communication and presentation skills
7. Experience working with developers, QA, and supporting UAT
8. Comfortable using tools like Zoom, MS Teams, Jira, and Confluence
9. Able to work independently in a hybrid environment
