Welder / Fitter (TIG)
M.P. Welding & Fabrication is currently seeking an experienced Welder / Fitter (TIG) to join our growing team. We are looking for a dependable, motivated individual who takes pride in quality workmanship, values safety, and enjoys working in a heavy industrial environment.

Compensation
$30.00?$35.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Job Type

Hours of Work
* Monday to Thursday: 9-hour shifts
* Friday: 4-hour shift
* Overtime opportunities available
* Must be willing to work extended hours for scheduled shutdowns, emergency breakdowns, and occasional call-in support.
Responsibilities
* Perform TIG welding on light-gauge materials to a high standard of quality.
* Read and accurately interpret blueprints, drawings, and fabrication specifications.
* Fit and assemble custom fabricated products with precision and attention to detail.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
* Adapt to changing priorities and work environments.
* Work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
* Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years of welding experience (TIG welding experience required).
* Proven ability to TIG weld light-gauge materials.
* Strong fitting and fabrication skills.
* Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings with minimal supervision.
* Commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety.
* Valid Ontario Driver?s Licence.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment
This position is based in a heavy industrial plant environment and requires adherence to all company safety policies.
Applicants must be able to:
* Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
* Work in confined spaces and at elevated heights when required.
* Climb stairs, ladders, and scaffolding.
* Lift, carry, push, pull, bend, crouch, and kneel throughout the workday.
* Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators and standard plant safety equipment.
* Work safely in environments with industrial noise, temperature fluctuations, and other plant conditions.
